The wind that changes History
Fortunale wind is an atmospheric disturbance of exceptional intensity, whose name derives from the fortune, the fate that sailors who were forced to navigate in such adverse weather conditions relied upon. Disruptiveness, strength and the ability to change the state of things are the characteristics we want to inherit in order to change the world of fashion for the better.
Fortunale aims to make the world’s best natural garment. Our knitwear is made only from pure Italian organic wool, dyed exclusively with chemical-free vegetable dyes, designed and produced in Italy by specialised artisans.
The detail makes the difference
Even the labels of our jumper are made of 100% natural fibres. The nature of our project is also in the details.

We choose only Italian producers who demonstrate high ethical standards, proven craftsmanship and policies of respect for workers and the environment.
We choose to produce in small quantities, according to customer needs, without having excess garments, far from the logic of continuous collections.
We choose to focus on quality and the protection of environmental resources, not quantity and pollution.
The art concept for Fortunale
Fortunale is an innovative project that wants to express beauty, with full respect for nature and the circular economy.
The tissue that wraps the sweater becomes a splendid painting, created by my young friend and dreamer Francesco Ferrulli, . A painting of rare beauty, enhanced by the bright colours and playful stroke that have always distinguished the artist’s talent, capable of expressing the disruptive and festive force of the Fortunale wind.

BORN TO BE WORN, THOUGHT TO BE REUTILIZED
Fortunale is totally eco-friendly and is inspired by the most modern principles of circular economy. The material transformed into an object often lies unused for most of its life, a Fortunale garment is instead designed from the beginning to be recycled at the end of its natural use.
Fortunale is a pure wool garment and this precious characteristic allows us to regenerate the fibres, producing new raw material. The total absence of synthetic fibres allows us to recycle it up to 80%. We will be happy to accept the return of your old Fortunale sweater in exchange for a 30% discount on a garment from our new collection: a small incentive to espouse our philosophy.
Even the packaging is perfectly reusable: each Fortunale sweater arrives in a specially designed recycled cardboard box. We want you to be able to happily reuse it, which is why we have made it with high quality materials and a design that is pleasing to the eye.
Ecological but affordable
We are convinced that it is possible to produce a high-quality, comfortable and sustainable garment without offering an exorbitant retail price.
We are aware that to initiate change towards a sustainable economic model, sustainable products must also be affordable.
Big fashion brands are used to multiplying the price of their products by 8 times the production cost.
We have made a different choice, eliminating all intermediaries between the producer and the consumer, offering our collections only via our online site.
This allows us to propose our creations at a market price 40/50% lower than that of traditional luxury distribution, without losing the quality of the products and the authenticity of Italian craftsmanship.
